I’m a romantic. I’m a passionate person and I find beauty in the little things around me. In the industry I have chosen to pursue, I can easily feel overwhelmed and stressed- almost always. Therefore, I absolutely HAVE to let myself enjoy my weekends. For me, this doesn’t mean partying or pulling all-nighters, it means busying myself with activities with the people I love.
This weekend I drove down to San Diego and visited my sweetheart of a boyfriend, Michael. We went to the Little Italy Farmer’s Market, worked out, relaxed with our kitties, and binge watched Hart of Dixie. Spending time in a place I love with the person I love left me feeling refreshed and optimistic for the week ahead of me. It was a reminder of how lucky I am to have a flexible work schedule that enables me to do the little things I love that keep me enjoying my life in between auditions and bookings!
My point of this rant? Let yourself embrace the little things so that it is even more meaningful when you accomplish the big things! Cheers to a beautiful life!
