Keeping in mind the digestion benefits of bananas explained a few posts back in my go-to green smoothie recipe, these bites are also jam-packed with oats’ dietary fiber and blood sugar stabilization benefits. No-Bake Banana Energy Bites Recipe:
2 cups oats
1/4 cup raw almond butter
2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup organic raw honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Mash up bananas in mixing bowl. Add in remaining ingredients, and stir all together. Take two tablespoons (or 1 tablespoon if you want to make smaller bites), and roll into a ball. Repeat until mixture is used. Allow bites to set for a minimum of 2 hours in fridge, and keep in fridge until consumed.
